On Prancer....

I love these shoes so much. It's hard for me to find too much info on designer Iris Schieferstein since her site is written in German (I believe). I did find several awesome images of her work though. I absolutely want a pair of these shoes, specifically the second ones down and the last pair. They are really, the ultimate in hove shoes, it doesn't get much more genuine then this folks! Image taken from her site and also found here .

In other news posting has been and probably will continue to be somewhat slow since the combination of the holidays and my bf still not fixing my computer is making it hard for me to find time to post much. But after the 1st at the latest it should all be business as usual! Making holiday cookies for co-workers tomorrow, should be fun.

These suckers though! Jesus Christ! Oak's been down for me off and on for like almost a week! Well I finally got on it today and found these and omfg, low and behold a size ten sitting there just waiting to be plucked up and placed in the cart. I proceeded to do so, only to have the site take a shit on me again!!! I spent over 2 hours hitting refresh on 2 computers trying to get it to come back, wtf!!! So I finally get back on there, and the item is missing, no out of stock sign on it, no it's not still in my cart, nothing. And now a little piece of me has died inside. Drama queen much? Maybe so, but these are worth every bit of drama for the industrial wedge lover, like myself. Happier days tomorrow? One could hope but it's Thursday, not Friday so I'm not getting my hopes too high!

My boyfriend looked over at me as I found these House of Holland wedges and said to me "how come you never get that excited when you see me?". Hmmm...... maybe if he was a 5.5", black leather wedge I would ;p

Weak in the knees

While walking down Melrose tonight I spotted these in the Fluevog window! The left me weak in the knees but unfortunately I was already running behind schedule and couldn't try them on. So I will need to schedule a later date with these beauties! How fitting that my favorites (the first pair) are named after the neighborhood I live in, Silverlake. It must be true love ;p

Buyers remorse

I couldn't help myself and now I'm already feeling the remorse :( oh well, they're beautiful and hopefully look just as good in person! I've been lusting over the opening ceremony pair but really, really could never have afforded them, this Jeffrey Campbell pair is already going to put a MAJOR strain on my budget for the next couple of months but they're really something I feel like I couldn't live without (ok, maybe an exaggeration... but still!). Just don't let my bf know how much I paid for 'em!!!

I'm on a massive shoe kick right now, searching the internet left and right for interesting and unique shoes that I am then bombarding my harddrive with. These are some from a French (I believe) brand called LaRare, I would love to get a pair but I can neither manipulate their site to order US, or afford them. So instead I will just drool!
