My heart shall not fear

Finally posting these images from the Brandi Milne show opening last week! Hope you enjoy :)

Group photo :) Me in my rubber dress and hat.

This little guy greeted everyone at the door

One of my favorite's I love the nun's she used in her pieces

All the pieces were so big and glorious. This one was especially large! These small photos dont really do the pieces justice. The details in each and every one was beautiful!

They offered this piece as a print and I purchased one, it's so great.

Love this little ice cream cone!

Another one of my favorites, so cute!

What an adorable trio!

The details of this piece were gorgeous.

This piece was another offered print that I purchased, love it so much!

Adorable poisoned chicks!

As you can see the show was great, you can see more about it on Brandi's blog, here.

Float on

Beautiful floating vintage opera costumes, installed by E. V. Day at the New York City Opera. These floating pieces create such haunting feel to the room, I absolutely love it! Found via TrendHunter, for more click here.

Wild ride

I can't read a word of the article it's featured on, but, from what I can tell these are images from a window display that David Lynch put together. See more images here, or if you understand french you can read the article and tell me what it says! This would be the most amazing piece to own and have as the prized display in a grand living room!

Trapped

What an amazing installation by artist Rachel Appel. Despite it's restrictions and obviously freezing temperature, I think there would be something oddly soothing being trapped in a vat of water turned ice. You can almost picture a fairy tale in your head about a girl getting trapped and then waking up years later when the ice finally thaws, not having aged a day herself.
