Like something that wakes you up in a cold sweat, Victor Castillo's work takes you to a place of wonder and horror that you normally don't find yourself wondering off to. Recently placing new work up at Helium Gallery in Hamburg and soon to be featured in High Fructose magazine 5th anniversary show, this artist definitely has his place in the art scene. I remember seeing his work awhile back but it was really these images that moved me. The mixture of vintage imagery, with child subjects and creepy, morbid undertones is what grabbed me and pulled me in. I wasn't able to find his website but you can view the article about him here.
