Hand knit and beaded, knit and lace dress, via Getty. It's unbelievable the amount of work Jaime put into her pieces and this is a strong example of that.

Awesome print and lace dress. Plus aren't these masks awesome!

Adorable, and extremely wearable sheer top and printed leggings. Could definitely be a closet staple I think. via Getty

As you guys can see this show was a major labor of love. Jaime is extremely passionate about what she does and our working together was quite an ideal match up because of this. I stayed motivated to hand cut and glue (literally) thousands of hexagons to create honeycomb because as I did that she would send me sneak peaks of what she was doing and it was even more intense then my own stuff! If you'd like to read more on the show and RAFW you can check out a couple more articles here and here

Check out more of Jaime's work on her site here

& more of Thom's work here

Hopefully I'll have even more updates and photos to share from the show, I'll post asap when I do.

Australian Fashion Week 1

I've been waiting in anticipation for soooooo long to show this too you guys!!! As some of you know I recently was asked to collaborate with an awesome, up and coming designer named Jaime Lee on her new collection for Australian Fashion week. See more on it here too and here and here!! Not only did I get the opportunity to meet and work with her but also amazing Australian fashion photographer Thom Kerr who shot the images above and I highly suggest checking out more of his work!

The two of them are some of the most amazing, talented, hard working people I've ever had the pleasure to work with. They truly have an amazing vision for fashion and I can't wait to follow them over the course of their careers and hopefully get the chance to work with them again!

This is just a sneak peak of the outfits to come! In case you can't tell I worked on the top in the first picture for her. Despite this being in black and white think bright colors, textures and lots AND LOTS of hand beaded bits and baubles!

Hated and Proud

Model: Krystyn Lea
Photographer: Clayton Addison
Hair and Makeup: Sara Eudy
Clothing: Me (of course)

Beautiful new photo by Clayton Addison of Krystean Lea, I love it, my dress looks so smoking hot on her!

I gotta say that I have my days of discouragement, like anyone else. Maybe that's why I love the way Krystyn's tattoo looks with this dress. It kinda embodies the attitude you need to have whether designer, photographer or model. Haters are gonna hate, regardless of whether you're amazing or suck, you just need to put your best foot forward and create what you really love and really feel strongly about. That's really all you can do!

Divine!

Christian Dior's Couture S/S 2010 collection was a smash success in my opinion. As much as I'm a fan of all things black and drapey I definitely wouldn't mind living out the rest of my days with Cruella Deville stripped hair, beautiful suits, and lacy dresses, all while carrying a riding crop as an accessory!!! ;p The gloves, the boots, the muted colors mixed with jewel tones and the lowered hem lengths all feel like the beginning of something new to come in the near future.

The Queen Bee

Of course most of you have already seen this gorgeous editorial from dazed and confused magazines, but I felt it needed yet another posting. Chopped up tulle with latex gloves, yum! What more could you want (besides actually owning and wearing the pieces that is!)!!! Photos of Magdalena Frackowiak by Josh Olins via fashiongonerogue. LOVE Viktor and Rolf!

Pack my bags, I'm running away from home!

I first found these images in a magazine at my previous employers maybe 2 or more years ago. To this day they are still favorites and line the pages of my inspiration sketch book. They have such perfection in their whimsy! A strange mixture of innocence and confusion, with a bit of fashion thrown in for good measure. Love it! This outfit is PERFECTION! Styled gorgeously!
