I got to make Katy Perry’s amazing backup dancers some latex garments recently! They wore them to perform on Germany’s Echo music awards show. The guys and girls look so fierce in their latex tops and latex harnesses! I don’t know where they get the energy to do these amazing dance performances, seriously, they kick ass and look amazing while doing so! Check them out in the full video of the performance below:

As a latex designer (or any designer for that matter!) I recently received what I think is one of the highest honors I could have, getting to dress international celebrity Katy Perry in a custom made latex costume for her performance on the 2012 Grammy awards. The costume was originally conceived by her outstanding stylist Johnny Wujeck and Katy Perry, herself, then I added some personal Abigail Greydanus touches to make it my own. I think it is one of the most amazing things she’s worn to perform in (latex or not). Inspired by the idea of a post apocalyptic warrior with a futuristic touch to it; this latex outfit looked truly outstanding on Katy Perry. Not only did I receive the honor of getting to work on the latex design for Katy Perry but I also got the amazing opportunity to be part of her crew for the day of the Grammys and go to the performance to make sure things went off without a hitch. What can I say, getting to see my outfit go on stage while standing behind the performance stage of the Staples center was truly awe-striking and I had to fight to hold back the tears of pride as Katy Perry took the stage to perform her new, soon to be hit song “Part of Me” in my latex.

Elliot Ward-Fear

Be on the lookout for the upcoming Australian fashion show of designer Elliot Ward-Fear! I had the great pleasure of collaborating with him on some pieces for his upcoming show and couldn't be happier with the results. I made some super sexy stockings as you can see with cut outs, zippers, clips, trim and other various techniques to create texture on them.

The above images are some of them from the line's lookbook shot by amazing photographer Thom Kerr. I found an article on Frockwriter about the collection and thought I'd share a few excerpts with you from it: "Inspired by ancient Chinese warriors, medieval battle armour and 1970s sci-fi heroines, the collection showcases Ward-Fear’s meticulous attention to detail and love of craftsmanship.

It includes colourblocked corsetry, meticulously-constructed mini shift dresses and separates - whose geometric slashes of midnight blue and orange double knit ponte, gold lamé and moleskin are very much in step with fashion's current Art Deco mood. Alongside some cute high-waisted bellbottom trousers in a lush camel wool/cashmere blend and a fabulous "Ziggy Stardust" coat. Fashioned from wool and gold lamé zig-zag panelling, the latter can be worn as a dress (above) or as a coat – as seen on rising Australian music star Kimbra at this week’s Rolling Stone Awards.

Nude Latex stockings add a frisson of fetish. They were done in collaboration with US Latex artist Abigail Greydanus, whose regular clientele includes Lady Gaga, Katie Perry, and Rihanna. All obviously high profile entertainment figures with insatiable appetites for spectacular stage and video styling and in whom, frockwriter imagines, Ward-Fear hopes to some day find some kindred spirits"

Had the pleasure this year of having awesome photographer’s RedRum Collaboration shoot a new dress, the “Hedy dress” on one of my favorite models, Lauren WK. Schick Quattro for Women Katy Perry Tour dresses

Over the summer I had the great honor of working with a team of talented people at marketing firm “Amplitude” on their campaign for “Schick Quattro for Women” razors. They were going to be the main tour sponsor of Katy Perry’s world tour and wanted something unique to help the girls that would be touring stand out in a crowd. After a few talks we decided that putting the signature Schick wording on a halter dress would not only be fun and unique but also allow for the girls to be able to work long hours without much discomfort. Some skirts were also made for the additional girls that came to help out at each new location to assist. Each letter on the dresses was meticulously cut in a different font, different sizing, etc, along with the Schick logo. It was a super consuming project but one well worth the effort. I had the pleasure of getting to go to the Los Angeles part of the tour, so much fun! Was great to see the reaction from people that had never seen, nor heard of latex before!

Schick also send a camera crew to watch me work one day on the dresses, etc and above you'll see the footage from that time they spent with me.

Carmen Electra Halloween Kitty

I'm a bit late posting this up here but I had the immense pleasure this Halloween season to get to work with the GORGEOUS Carmen Electra, and her amazing stylists on her Halloween outfit!
Seriously, you could not have a better body for latex then this woman has, it looks absolutely perfect on her. Carmen wanted to do a traditional pin up kitty sort of look, so we decided on a zip front catsuit with a cute attached rubber kitty tail, and then got to have some fun accessorizing the outfit with some clip on kitty ears (which are one of my favorite things right now) a diamante detailed kitty collar and a lovely latex face mask to put a bit of mystery into the look. Below you’ll find a few shots of the look that were taken while Carmen was hosting a Halloween event and also some of her that she tweeted while getting ready to go out

This was my main inspiration for the outfit. Pre-catwoman, sexy pinup kitty. I absolutely love old pin ups and love being able to draw inspiration from them!

Alt Noir issue 16

I recently got tear sheets from issue #16 of Alt Noir magazine that features some work I did for a shoot with Charlie Bones Inc. The shoot was for their “Urban Myths” issue and the theme of the shoot was inspired by Will Christopher Baers book, Kiss Me Judas. (A great read,I highly recommend it). In addition to photography by Charlie Bones INC. rhere's MUA: ZEN Reyes. Hair by Victoria Buge. Models include Jordan Wentz, Matthiu Verlust and Josh Reidel. Jordan wears Clara dress and Matthiu our latex Tie.

Skin Two

I recently had the immense pleasure of being featured in the recent issue of Skin Two magazine! There is several photographs paired with an interview with reporter Tessa Ditner (who was a pleasure to be interviewed by!). Skin Two as many of you probably know has been quite prominent over the years as “the” latex fashion magazine, so getting the opportunity to be included in it is a fantastic one. Last, but not least of the new Dina De Sade pictures is an additional one to the original set of photos taken by Dangerously Dolly a few months ago. Not only is Dolly an awesome photographer but she also made that crystal covered respirator!!!

Rusty Dreams

Keeping with the Dina De Sade and forest theme, here's a few photos by Ama Lea Photography of Dina in Atlanta. Dina wears the V-front, 6-garter dress style in a couple photos and the 1/4 cup bow bra and bum cut out, 6-garter skirt in the other.

Room 9

Awesome new photoset by photographer Phoenix Taylor , check his site out he's got lots of cool stuff on there! Shoot features models Samantha Knight and Ivy Zehring. Makeup by Victoria Wardrick, airbrush and hair by Walter Fuentes. And I, of course, provided the latex for this shoot. The jacket and skirt that you see aren't latex so those aren't mine but the rubbery goodness of the undergarments is.

We Run the Night

Shortly after collaboration on Jaime Lee's Fashion show, Australian artist Dj Havana Brown contacted Jaime inquiring about using some of the latex from her show in a new music video. Above is just a short feature I found on Youtube, the entire video can be seen on her website here.
You can also check out some exclusive behind the scenes on here. If you keep your eyes peeled throughout the video you'll also notice a few pieces that were in addition to what was originally seen at Jaime's show (gold one piece, gloves, etc). Enjoy!
